Welcome Baby Eddie!
As you all now know, Edward Vincent Hennigan has arrived! He came into the world 3 1/2 weeks early on Sunday, February 12th, 2012 at 9:43am - 6lbs, 6.5oz, 21in. I was induced on Saturday and once we got started, Eddie was on a mission to make his debut! He came to us very quickly and in turn had a few complications. He was taken away before I got a chance to really see and hold him, he didn't cry for a few hours (until they gave him a cold bath...mean!) and he had a chest xray before he was even an hour old. All tests came back normal and we are pleased to say that little Eddie is a very healthy baby. He is absolutely amazing and Mike and I are completely obsessed with him!
Becoming parents has been the most amazing experience for us and we could not be happier. We are both looking forward to everything parenthood has in store for us and we can't wait to be able to share Eddie with all of you! Thank you so much for all of the love and support! We love you!

36 Weeks!
We have finally made it to the 36 week mark...it's been a little rough, but we are here! I have been on bed rest since last week after ending up in the hospital (again) with high blood pressure. I had to take my maternity leave a little earlier than expected. This past Monday we had yet another doctors appointment and my BP was still high, so they sent me for more blood work and an ultra sound so we could check the lung function and heartbeat of little Eddie. Tomorrow we have a follow up appointment and we will be making the decision on when he gets to have a Birthday! I'm really hoping they send us straight over to the hospital to be induced, but they could make us wait a little longer.
We took one more round of pictures (just in case) for you to enjoy and I have also included the pictures of Eddie from our ultra sound today! Enjoy!

34 Weeks - 6 to go!!
Again, I'm such a slacker! We went from 31 weeks to 34 weeks and I can barely tell you what has happened in between!
My baby shower was AMAZING!!! Thank you to all of my family and friends for your overwhelming generosity - and especially Thank you to my mom for putting together the best and most beautiful day I could have imagined!
We had a minor issue last week and ended up visiting the hospital for a little while - I was having major swelling and my blood pressure has been a little out of wack, so better safe than sorry. After blood work and a few other tests followed by more blood work and a few days of bed rest, I am no feeling a little better and heading back to work on a restricted basis. I'm going to limit myself to 6 hour days and some events, but I now know that I cannot work any more 14 hour days - my period of "too close to delivery" denial is officially over! :) I'm still keeping track of my blood pressure, which was still elevated at my doctors appointment yesterday, but other than that, we are back in business.
Here are two picture in front of Eddie's VERY FULL closet! Thank you again everyone for all of the amazing gifts! He's already a spoiled little guy!

31 weeks
I'm a slacker. I'm sorry. It's been so busy lately between the holidays and being fat...haha! Not much to report other than the nursery is going to be completely finished as of today when Mike finishes re-installing the shelves in the closet. We have a ton of close from Johnny, so Eddie is just about set in that department. We (finally) ordered a chair for the nursery which should be here in 4-12 weeks (what kind of time estimate is that?!?!) Better come in sooner rather than later since Eddie will be here long before 12 weeks!! (Can you even believe that? I can't!!)
We cannot wait to meet him and he's getting bigger and bigger every minute. Yesterday I noticed my button is just about flat...YIKES! Alien invasion!
Here are the photos from this morning for you to laugh at...I mean enjoy! :)

28 Weeks
Holy Cow! Every week I still find it hard to believe that we are this far! 28 weeks - only 12 to go!! Next Monday morning I have a doctors appointment and after that we are down to going every 2 weeks. Unbelievable! Mike and I are both getting more and more excited to meet little Eddie and the bigger he gets the more active he gets, so we are both getting to really enjoy his kicks and punches (as much as you can really enjoy being punched in the rib on a regular basis!!) His nursery is finished with the exception of getting a chair, so that's a huge relief. It's baby ready whenever little E decides to make his debut. Work has been pretty challenging for me lately just because I can't do everything I'm used to being able to do and it's hard to find helpers. I'm wearing out and I hate that, but I know when I start feeling like this to listen to my body and limit myself - doesn't mean I have to like it! :)
Here are today's pictures - 28 weeks!

26 Weeks!
Getting bigger by the minute! Little E can hear much better now and he's breathing in and out preparing his lungs for the real world. I swear he knows who is touching my belly because he will only kick for Mike and my mom! We are getting more and more excited every day to get to meet him, but we are happy to let him cook a little longer!
Here are the pics we took of my belly this week - I think I have doubled in size since last week, but that's probably just in my head (at least that's what you all better tell me) :)

25 Weeks!
25 weeks and ready for our vacation! It's been a pretty constant dance party happening and Eddie has no intentions of holding back! We are just a few small steps away from the nursery being 100% finished, but at this point a baby could definitely live in there!!! I posted 2 pictures below of some of the special touches we have done - spelling out eddie in wooden letters over his changing table and putting up some adorable bunny prints over his crib! I'm getting bigger by the minute and there are days Mike will tell me I got bigger since I left the house in the morning! (Terribly Rude!)
Tomorrow I have a doctors appointment - just another check up, nothing exciting!
Meanwhile - I would like to welcome Miss Alma Ward to the world - My friend Candace had her baby on Sunday, November 20th
And a very special welcome to Mr. Caiden (spelling to be determined) Karlo Spaulding - my cousins Chris and Monica's new baby boy who came to the world on Monday, November 21st!
We are so excited for Eddie to have two friends to play with! We are also looking forward to Sophia "Fifi" Greskoff who will be making her debut the end of January! Lots of playmates for Little E to hang out with!!
Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
